Driven by the frenetic rhythm of the guitar and high hats, the animated visualiser and lyric video for Paper Machete mirrors the tireless energy of the track. In theme with the title of the track, the design is collage-like, with paper cut outs, slashes, brush strokes, patterns, and layering of photographs reminiscent of old magazines.

The animated video provides a punchy visualisation of texture, timbre, and tempo. The visual style and imagery initially appears bright and colourful, but upon closer inspection, we see darker imagery.
